Signal Boost: Refactoring UI

If you're interested in creating beautiful web sites, I highly recommend Refactoring UI. It's created by Steve Schoger and Adam Wathan, both part of the Tailwind team.

I haven't paid for the course (yet), but the free resources are already plenty for me. What's been most valuable is to watch Steve's screencasts. He shows exactly how a designer sees a web page and what principles he applies to make a site readable and beautiful.

I plan to apply some of these lessons on my own projects later this weekend (and perhaps I'll do the same for this blog, as well).
